Classic Parmesan Scalloped Potatoes

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 pounds Yukon gold potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 3 cups whipping cream
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh flat-leaf parsley, chopped
- 1/2 cup (2 oz.) grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
1. Melt butter in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Stir in potatoes and next 5 ingredients,
